Patrick M. Fahey

Pat has over 40 years in the banking industry and has been a director since January 2006. He currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Frontier Financial Corporation and Chairman of Frontier Bank. He was founding chairman, President and CEO of Pacific Northwest Bank for 16 years. He is a graduate of Seattle University, Pacific Coast Banking School, and the Management Program of the University Of Washington School Of Business. He is a past director and president of Washington Bankers Association.

Michael J. Clementz

Mike has been in the banking industry for over 45 years. He joined Frontier in July 2000 through the merger of Liberty Bay Financial Corporation and North Sound Bank where he was founder, president, CEO and chairman. From 2003 until 2005, Mike served as President and CEO of Frontier Financial Corporation, and as President of Frontier Financial Properties from 2006 until December of 2008.  He currently serves as President of Frontier Financial Corporation and CEO of Frontier Bank. He is a past president of Washington Bankers Association.

John J. Dickson

President/Frontier Bank

John has been with Frontier since April 1985. He became president of Frontier Bank in December 2008 and was previously its CEO from May 2003 to November 2008. In addition he served as president and CEO of Frontier Financial from January 2006 through November 2008. John spent most of his early tenure in the financial area of the bank, along with several years in credit administration and as a loan officer. He is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound (1982), earning a BA in business and economics. He earned his CPA designation and spent three years in the audit division of a large accounting firm. In 1994, John graduated with honors from the Bank Administration Institute (BAI) School for Bank Administration at the University of Wisconsin. He is past chairman of the Washington Bankers Association.

Carol E. Wheeler

Chief Financial Officer/Secretary

Carol has been with Frontier since 1978. She established its Audit Department (1983), and she served as senior vice president and internal auditor as the bank grew from $100 million to $2 billion, including the holding company and subsidiaries. A graduate of Northwest Intermediate Banking School (1985), Carol received her BAI EDP Audit Certificate (1991) and her Certified Trust Auditor (1995) from Cannon Financial Institution. She was appointed to her current position in May 2003.

Lyle E. Ryan

EVP and Senior Branch Administrator/Frontier Bank

Lyle has spent more than 39 years in the banking industry and more than 29 years with Frontier Bank, serving as executive vice president and branch administrator. He is a graduate of Eastern Oregon State College (1976), where he earned a BS in business administration and accounting. Lyle graduated from the University of Washington Pacific Coast Banking School (1986) and graduated with honors from BAI School of Community Bank Management at the University of Wisconsin (1997).

Robert W. Robinson

Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer

Rob has spent more than 23 years in the banking industry. He joined Frontier in July 2000 through the merger of Liberty Bay Financial Corporation. Rob was formerly the president and director of Liberty Bay Financial Corporation and North Sound Bank. A graduate of California State University (1981), he earned a BA in finance. Rob graduated from the University of Washington Pacific Coast Banking School (1994) and from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management CEO Management Program (1999). He was appointed to his current position in July 2002. 
 

R. James Mathison

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Jim has more than 30 years of experience in the banking and technology industries. He joined Frontier in October 2004 as executive vice president and chief information officer. As a long-time executive of Washington Mutual Bank, Jim has extensive experience in managing information technology and acquisitions. A graduate of the University of Washington (1975), he earned a BA in business administration and is an honors graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School. Jim is active in several industry organizations and in the community.
