David started his 20-year career at Frontier after teaching high school agriculture classes for 20 years. David outlines the best parts of his job as:
- Helping our customers to achieve their goals;
- Working closely with the customer to grow their operations; and,
- Helping customers to solve problems and use opportunities.
David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education from Iowa State University, and a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Agricultural Education from South Dakota State University. He grew up in Stanton, Iowa and is currently the church treasurer at his church and has served in that capacity for more than 9 years.
David enjoys golfing, gardening, and running, participating in a few 5K and 10K races each summer. David currently lives in Larchwood, IA with his wife of 39 years, Sandy. They have two grown children, Dana and Darin. Dana lives in the Kansas City area with her husband Kyle and their son Camden. Darin lives outside of Minneapolis with his wife Anna and their son Drew. David also has 5 grandchildren: 4 boys and 1 girl.

Ashley has been with Frontier Bank for more than 7 years and has over 8 years of banking experience. Ashley points out that Frontier Bank invests in their employees - “Frontier encourages us to attend conferences and schools in order to be more knowledgeable in our particular jobs.”
The Larchwood native attended South Dakota University where she completed her bachelor’s degree in business economics. She now resides on an acreage outside of Little Rock, Iowa with her Husband, Brent and her two daughters . Ashley serves her community by being involved in Rock Rapids Business Women, the Rock Rapids Chamber and the Lyon County Extension Board. She also enjoys helping with her husband's cattle, swine and grain operation along with gardening, traveling and attending SDSU sporting events.

Kayla grew up in Rock Rapids and attended Southeast Tech in Sioux Falls, graduating with a degree in business administration. Kayla is married to Tom and they have three children, Brielle, Baylor & Briggs. She serves on the Rock Rapids Municipal Housing Board, Rock Rapids Businesswomen and is Treasurer for First Reformed Church Sunday School. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family & cheering for the Minnesota Vikings.
Kayla has 16 + years of experience in the banking industry and has worked in several areas including CSR, credit administration and now mortgage lending. She says one of her favorite parts of her job is guiding and educating customers through the path of homeownership. Whether they are a first-time homebuyer or buying a forever home, it is rewarding to walk through the journey with each customer.

Ronda is a native of George, Iowa and is a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. Taylor grew up in George, IA and attended Southwest Minnesota State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Ag Business and Finance. He is the President of the George Community Development Corporation and is involved in the George Community Daycare research committee, George Chamber of Commerce, George Betterment Club, Lyon County Justice for All mentorship program, and is a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
When asked about his favorite part of his job and working at Frontier Bank, Taylor says, “I enjoy working for a locally owned company that truly cares about its customers and the communities it serves. Also, the customers I get to work with on a daily basis are great people and working side by side with them to help them achieve their business or farming goals is extremely rewarding.”
In his free time, Taylor enjoys golfing, refereeing basketball and football, farming, coaching baseball and grilling.

One of Sheila’s favorite parts of banking is helping people. “Everything from helping balance customer checkbooks to helping them build their legacy, their success makes me happy.” She has spent over 25 years in the banking industry, all with Frontier Bank.
The Little Rock native is an Augustana University graduate where she received a BA in accounting and minored in math and economics. Sheila is a member of the Lyon County Fair Board, Lyon County Compensation Board, and the Salem Reformed Church where she serves on the executive board for Women of Worship. Sheila is also the Treasurer for the Little Rock Alumni Association. In her free time, Sheila enjoys woodworking, tending to her chickens and dogs, going to Colorado with the ATV, helping her husband with their cow/calf operation and baking.
Sheila’s family includes her husband Darwin, daughter Carly and husband Brian, Son Colby and wife Brooke, three grandchildren, three boxer fur persons, and three grand-puppies.

Evan grew up on a farm just west of Rock Rapids and has lived here most of his life. Evan has 10 years of ag/farming background which include dairy, swine and crops. He attended South Dakota State University and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Ag Systems Technology with minors in Ag Business and Business. His favorite part of the job is helping our customers achieve their goals and working with a great team of employees, officers, directors and shareholders! He likes the culture and how Frontier Bank “invests” in their employees and is focused on the customer’s needs!
When he is not busy working, he enjoys entertaining at his home, watching college football (Iowa Hawkeyes), outside yard projects, attending SDSU sporting events and spending time with family and friends. He and his wife Kristi, sons Treyton and McCoy and daughter Berkley reside here in Rock Rapids. He has served on the Western Iowa Dairy Alliance Board for 6 years and has served on the First Reformed Church Board for over 5 years.

Brian is a native of George, Iowa where he grew up on a family farm that farrowed/raised swine and grew corn & soybeans. After graduating high school, Brian attended Briar Cliff University in Sioux City where he completed a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in management.
Brian now resides in Rock Rapids with his wife Stacey and three children, Elizabeth, Andrew and Abby. Brian is an active member of the Rock River Golf Board, Kiwanis, Central Lyon Booster Club and Holy Name Church. He also stays busy cheering on the Central Lyon sports teams and farming with his family east of Rock Rapids.
When not participating in community or family events, Brian can typically be found on the farm, the golf course, running the trails in preparation for his next marathon or watching his beloved Twins, Vikings or Hawkeyes!
